What this site is

Worth Spreading is a cultural trend intelligence publication. It provides editorial content — signals, trend analysis, insights, and commentary — for informational and professional use. It is not a consultancy, research agency, or advisory service. Nothing on this site constitutes professional advice of any kind.

Who operates this site

Worth Spreading is the trade name of a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) established under Dutch law and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK). The Netherlands. Contact: worthspreading.com/contact.

Using the site

By accessing worthspreading.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms at any time — the "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

Accounts and membership

You may sign up for a free account to receive the Friday Digest newsletter. In the future, we may offer paid memberships with access to additional content. When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You may cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time.

Paid memberships, when available, are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor (Stripe). You may cancel at any time, and your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — if you are not satisfied, contact us and we will make it right.

Intellectual property

All content on worthspreading.com — including text, the taxonomy framework, visual design, and the Worth Spreading name — is the intellectual property of Worth Spreading unless otherwise noted.

You may share links to any page freely. You may quote short excerpts (a sentence or two) with attribution and a link back to the source. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or republish substantial portions of the content without written permission.

The proprietary taxonomy — including the six Undercurrents, the named Macro Trends, and the Undercurrent Insights framework — is original work. You are welcome to reference the concepts with attribution. Systematic copying of the framework structure is not permitted.

User-submitted content

If you submit a signal tip, comment, or other content via our contact form or email, you grant Worth Spreading a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, edit, and publish that content (with credit where appropriate). You retain ownership of anything you submit.

Disclaimer

The content on this site is editorial opinion and analysis. We do our best to be accurate, but we make no guarantees. Cultural trends are inherently subjective. Our classifications, predictions, and recommendations reflect our editorial judgment — not objective fact.

Worth Spreading is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use the content at your own discretion.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Worth Spreading and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

Sponsorship and advertising

Worth Spreading may include sponsored content in the Friday Digest newsletter in the future. Sponsored content will always be clearly labelled. We will never run programmatic display advertising. Editorial independence is not negotiable.

Third-party links

Signal posts link to external sources. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party sites. A link is not an endorsement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
